Meet Your Therapist
Society has placed some very unrealistic expectations upon women, and finding someone that truly understands the pressures of such expectations can prove to be a daunting task. That is, until now! My name is Jessica and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Unique in my approach and possessing the ability to relate personally and professionally, I have been equipped to get in the trenches with my clients. An alumnus of Howard University where I completed my graduate studies and earned a Masters in Social Work degree, I am trained in Maternal Mental Health with specialization in Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders.
Having gone through, and survived postpartum depression and anxiety, coupled with years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker, Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula; I have made it my mission to help women overcome all that tries to overtake them. I seek to help mothers navigate the challenges that arise from giving birth no matter if it's the first time, or the fifth time. As a Black woman and Therapist, I believe in utilizing a non-judgmental, nurturing approach that allows clients to feel supported, seen, and understood. I also lean on my experience as a mother to make clients comfortable and confident because I understand, firsthand, the issues new parents face.

Understanding that there is no such thing as "one size fits all" when it comes to mental health and wellbeing, extreme care is given to provide clients with a uniquely individualized approach that will encourage them to tap into their strengths and take advantage of their support system. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate the journey of parenthood every step of the way!

I believe in utilizing a non-judgmental, nurturing approach in a fun therapeutic environment. My style is chill, but challenging and I can guarantee confidentiality, consistency, and transparency. Here to help heal your mind, body and SOUL! I will equip you with effective tools and techniques to help you feel in control of your situation.
